Tanggung Jawab
- Assist senior kitchen staff in the daily preparation of high-quality dishes for hotel restaurants and banquets.
- Ensure all food preparation is performed according to established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with HACCP and local health safety regulations.
- Monitor ingredient quality and inform the Chef de Partie of any inventory shortages or quality issues.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in team briefings and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen during peak service hours.
- Assist with the receiving, checking, and proper storage of kitchen deliveries.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, culinary internship, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Formal culinary qualification (Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts) is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced team environment.
- Flexible availability to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for culinary excellence.
- Basic command of English to communicate effectively within the kitchen brigade.
