Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily food preparation and mise en place.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored according to health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas, ensuring a high level of sanitation.
  • Execute dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Support the kitchen brigade during busy service periods to ensure efficient delivery of orders.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the kitchen management team.
  • Follow all food safety and HACCP regulations consistently.
  • Participate in ongoing kitchen training and menu development sessions.

Kualifikasi

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong passion for gastronomy and a desire to learn new culinary techniques.
  • Ability to work well within a team and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding plating and food consistency.
  • Excellent understanding of basic food safety and personal hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
