- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes according to standard recipes.
- Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation of your assigned workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
- Support senior chefs with daily kitchen operations, including ingredient prep, plating, and stock rotation.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of all food items to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
- Monitor stock levels daily and promptly inform the Sous Chef of any shortages, spoilage, or equipment issues.
- Participate in kitchen cleaning duties and deep cleaning schedules at the end of shifts.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Commis Chef, Demi Chef, or similar entry-level culinary role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a relevant food safety certification is highly advantageous.
- Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and standard kitchen equipment.
- Exceptional ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively under high pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining high hygiene and sanitation standards.
