As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in our daily kitchen operations, assisting in food preparation, maintaining immaculate kitchen standards, and ensuring every dish that leaves our kitchen meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for daily service, including washing, chopping, and portioning meats, vegetables, and herbs.
  • Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of authentic Italian dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain clean, hygienic, and organized work stations in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Properly store and rotate food stock utilizing the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method to minimize waste.
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly to the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
  • Collaborate effectively with the wider kitchen team to ensure timely and smooth service, especially during peak dining hours.
  • Assist in receiving kitchen deliveries and verifying the quality and quantity of received stock.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Commis Chef, Kitchen Assistant, or similar entry-level kitchen role, preferably in an Italian or high-volume restaurant.
  • Basic culinary knowledge, knife skills, and familiarity with various cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong commitment to kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and personal grooming.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive, eager-to-learn attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
  • Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Kuta Selatan/Uluwatu.
