Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef and Chef de Partie in daily food preparation tasks according to standard recipes.
- Ensure that the kitchen workstation is kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.
- Maintain proper stock rotation and storage procedures for all plant-based ingredients.
- Prepare raw ingredients including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables and fruits.
- Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and reporting low stock levels.
- Continuously learn new techniques and recipes as per the Bistro's menu updates.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of basic food preparation and culinary techniques.
- A genuine passion for plant-based, vegan, or vegetarian cuisine.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
