Tanggung Jawab

  • Accurately prepare ingredients for the daily menu, including chopping vegetables, seasoning meats, and preparing sauces.
  • Assist senior chefs in the cooking and plating of dishes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization within your assigned workstation and the general kitchen area.
  • Ensure all food storage areas are organized and ingredients are labeled and stored at the correct temperatures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform the Sous Chef of any stock shortages or upcoming requirements.
  • Strictly follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP protocols to ensure guest health and safety.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Collaborate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Commis, Kitchen Assistant, or similar role in a hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant.
  • Educational background in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related vocational certificate.
  • Basic knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A passion for wellness and healthy cuisine is highly desirable.
