As a Commis, you will play a vital role in our food preparation operations, working closely with senior chefs to ensure the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

You will be responsible for assisting in the daily preparation of meals, maintaining a pristine kitchen environment, and adhering to strict health and safety regulations. Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist Senior Chefs: Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and cooking.
  • Maintain Hygiene: Ensure all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to strict food safety standards.
  • Follow Recipes: Prepare dishes according to standardized recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation.
  • Kitchen Organization: Keep your workstation organized and clean, ensuring ingredients and tools are easily accessible for efficient service.
  • Inventory Support: Assist in checking stock levels and reporting any shortages or spoilage to the management team.
  • Food Presentation: Ensure all plated dishes meet the visual standards and quality requirements of the hotel.
  • Shift Duties: Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support the continuous operation of the kitchen.

Kualifikasi

  • Education: High school diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management is preferred.
  • Experience: No prior professional experience is strictly required, but culinary training or internship experience is a plus.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of kitchen safety, sanitation, and standard food handling procedures.
  • Attitude: A strong passion for cooking, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn new techniques.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
