As a Commis Chef, you will work closely with our Senior Pastry Chefs to execute sophisticated recipes, maintain strict quality control, and ensure the seamless operation of the bakery section. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in dough preparation, pastry assembly, and high-volume production while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene. Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the daily production of breads, pastries, and desserts for restaurant and banquet services.
  • Prepare high-quality baked goods according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in compliance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels of ingredients and assist with stock rotation and ordering processes.
  • Support the team during high-pressure events and busy service shifts.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained after every shift.
  • Continuously learn and implement new baking techniques to improve product quality and output.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional bakery or kitchen environment.
  • Possess a culinary qualification or certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge is a plus).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach to food presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced professional kitchen.
  • Strong work ethic and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.
