Are you a passionate culinary professional looking to hone your skills in a high-volume, professional environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our expanding Central Kitchen team in Jakarta Selatan.
In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of our kitchen, supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes to support our various outlets. You will work in a fast-paced, organized, and collaborative setting where precision, food safety, and efficiency are at the core of everything we do. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist senior chefs with daily mise-en-place and preparation of ingredients.
- Ensure all cooking stations are stocked and organized according to kitchen standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor ingredient quality and assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Support the team during peak service hours to ensure timely food production.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen workflows and menu preparation.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or central kitchen environment.
- Certification in Culinary Arts or related hospitality field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic food preparation, knife skills, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions precisely.
- Highly disciplined with a strong commitment to cleanliness and food safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required by the contract.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen inventory.
