As a Commis, you will play a vital role in the cold kitchen section, assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the preparation of appetizers, salads, cold starters, and desserts. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation and plating of cold dishes, appetizers, salads, and desserts according to standard recipes.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the cold kitchen workspace.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, correctly labeled, and stored at the appropriate temperatures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during service hours.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and hygiene regulations set by the restaurant.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the cold kitchen station, including fridges and freezers.
- Monitor stock levels of cold ingredients and inform the Chef of any shortages or needs.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or culinary training (Vocational Diploma or Certificate).
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and cold food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Passion for cooking and a creative approach to food presentation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
