Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist in the daily preparation and cooking of menu items according to Bread Yard's standardized recipes and specifications.
  • Ensure all food products meet the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation before being served to guests.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation in strict compliance with HACCP and local health department regulations.
  • Support the team in receiving, storing, and rotating all food deliveries to minimize waste and ensure freshness using the FIFO method.
  • Prepare the mise en place for the upcoming shift, including chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and preparing sauces and dressings.
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations and timely service during peak hours.
  • Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and promptly reporting any maintenance issues to the Head Chef or manager on duty.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a cafe, hotel, or fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles, HACCP standards, and personal hygiene protocols.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to the changing demands of a busy service environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude and a genuine eagerness to learn, improve, and grow your culinary career.
