As a Commis/Demi Chef, you will work closely with our senior chefs, supporting all stages of food preparation and presentation. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to the highest standards, maintaining strict hygiene and safety protocols, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly during service hours.

Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the head chef and senior line cooks in the preparation of ingredients, sauces, and dishes.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of perishable goods to minimize waste.
- Contribute to menu development by testing new recipes and providing feedback.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to guarantee timely delivery of orders.
- Mentor junior kitchen assistants, sharing techniques and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen or culinary apprenticeship.
- Certification in Food Safety (e.g., WSQ Basic Food Safety) is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen station management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude.
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy pots and pans.
