Tanggung Jawab

  • Assist senior chefs and cooks in the preparation and cooking of various Chinese dishes, following established recipes and culinary standards.
  • Perform daily mise en place duties, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients for all sections of the Chinese kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Learn and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) to ensure the highest quality and safety of food products.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of fresh ingredients, reporting shortages to the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
  • Support the kitchen team during peak service hours, ensuring timely and efficient food production.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills, particularly in Chinese cuisine techniques.

Kualifikasi

  • Previous entry-level kitchen experience or formal culinary training/diploma is highly advantageous.
