Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and coordinate end-to-end logistics operations for commodity shipments primarily within the North American region.
- Manage relationships with global suppliers, shipping lines, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely delivery.
- Mitigate operational risks by monitoring shipments, identifying potential delays, and implementing contingency plans.
- Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare and manage critical trade documentation, including Bills of Lading, Letters of Credit, and Certificates of Analysis.
- Analyze logistics costs and negotiate freight rates to optimize supply chain expenditures.
- Collaborate with the trading desk to provide real-time updates on shipment status and inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system for audit and reporting purposes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the commodities or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and international shipping procedures.
- Proven experience handling North American trade routes and understanding US/Canadian customs requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing diverse supplier and carrier relations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-priority shipments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost reduction and process improvement.
