We are currently seeking a strategic and results-oriented Commodity Buyer to join our high-performing procurement team in Johor Bahru (with cross-functional interaction with our Penang operations).

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute effective procurement strategies for assigned commodities to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Manage vendor performance through regular audits, contract negotiations, and periodic business reviews.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to diversify the supply base and mitigate potential disruptions.
- Lead cost-reduction projects including price benchmarking, VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering), and negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and raw material price fluctuations to provide accurate forecasting and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure seamless material flow.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and international trade regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management, preferably within the EMS or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronics components market and supply chain dynamics.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and manage long-term vendor partnerships.
- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams and international locations.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing environment.
