Adamson University, a premier Catholic institution of higher learning located in the historic district of Ermita, Manila, is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified individual to join our academic community as a Communication Faculty Member.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, shaping the curriculum, and mentoring students enrolled in our Communication program. We value innovative teaching methodologies that integrate theory with practical application in the fields of mass communication, journalism, public relations, and digital media.
As a faculty member, you will play a crucial role in the academic and personal development of our students. You are expected to assist students in the learning process, apply deep knowledge of the discipline, and contribute to the overall quality and content of instruction. Beyond the classroom, you will have the opportunity to engage in scholarly research, participate in community extension services, and contribute to the Vincentian mission of the university.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops for undergraduate communication courses.
- Develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials aligned with industry standards.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, projects, presentations, and other assessment methods.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and career guidance to students to support their holistic development.
- Engage in scholarly research, creative work, and publications in the field of communication and media.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, curriculum development, academic committees, and university events.
- Maintain professional competence through continuous learning, attending conferences, and pursuing further studies.
- Contribute to the University's community extension services and Vincentian mission.
Kualifikasi
- Master's degree in Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a closely related field. (Ph.D. or Ed.D. is a significant advantage).
- At least two (2) years of teaching experience at the tertiary or graduate level.
- Strong track record of research, creative output, and scholarly publications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
- Proficiency in educational technology, online learning management systems, and multimedia production tools.
- Demonstrated ability to engage, motivate, and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to the core values, vision, and mission of Adamson University.
- Must be a Filipino citizen or a legal resident with valid working papers in the Philippines.
