We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to ensure our hospitality properties in Coron, Palawan operate in full adherence to all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements. In this critical role, you will safeguard our operations by implementing robust compliance frameworks, conducting thorough audits, and mitigating risks across all property functions. The ideal candidate will drive a culture of compliance excellence while maintaining operational efficiency in our dynamic tourism environment.
You will collaborate with department heads to develop policies aligned with industry standards, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure staff training programs instill compliance awareness. This position offers the opportunity to shape our property's integrity while contributing to Palawan's sustainable tourism growth.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs aligned with hospitality regulations
- Conduct regular internal audits of property operations and safety protocols
- Monitor local, national, and international regulatory changes affecting tourism sector
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions
- Train staff on compliance policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with legal teams on contract reviews and risk assessments
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability regulations
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years compliance experience in hospitality/tourism industry
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tourism regulations and safety standards
- Certification in compliance management or auditing (e.g., CCEP) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in compliance management software and reporting tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
