- Research, evaluate, and select electronic components based on technical specifications and performance requirements
- Develop and maintain component databases with lifecycle status, compliance certifications, and supplier information
- Standardize component usage across product lines to optimize inventory and reduce supply complexity
- Analyze component obsolescence risks and implement mitigation strategies including second-sourcing
- Ensure components meet industry standards (IPC, JEDEC) and regulatory requirements (RoHS, REACH)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate components into new product designs
- Monitor supply chain trends and identify potential disruptions to ensure continuity
- Perform cost analysis and value engineering to optimize component selection
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in component engineering or similar technical procurement role
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCB design, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with industry standards (IPC-7351, JEDEC JESD47) and compliance frameworks
- Experience with component lifecycle management tools and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical skills for risk assessment and cost optimization
- Certifications in supply chain management or component engineering (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and component management software
