Join Kurita Water, a global leader in water treatment solutions, as a Contract Technician/Engineer specializing in wastewater treatment systems. This critical role involves providing technical expertise for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of advanced wastewater treatment facilities across industrial and municipal sites. You'll conduct regular site visits and potentially be stationed at customer facilities to ensure operational excellence, troubleshoot complex mechanical and chemical systems, and deliver responsive service that minimizes downtime while maintaining environmental compliance. With comprehensive training and industry-leading equipment, you'll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge water purification technologies while supporting sustainability initiatives across Malaysia's industrial sector.
Tanggung Jawab
- Install, calibrate, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and control systems
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs at customer sites
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and chemical system failures using diagnostic tools
- Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with customers to address operational concerns and system optimization needs
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with engineering teams for system upgrades and technology implementations
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment systems
- Strong understanding of industrial pumps, valves, and control systems
- Certification in water treatment technology (e.g., WTNA, WQA) preferred
- Valid driver's license with willingness for regional travel
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance software
- Excellent problem-solving and customer communication skills
