We are currently seeking an experienced and versatile Contracting & Commercial Manager (CM) to join our dynamic Programme Excellence Centre (PEC). This is a strategic opportunity for a commercial professional to drive value and ensure the integrity of our contracts across a diverse portfolio of engineering and technical projects.
As a Contracting & Commercial Manager, you will act as the primary commercial advisor to project teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initial commercial negotiations through to post-award performance management and contract renewal. In this role, you will leverage your strong commercial acumen to mitigate risk, optimize pricing strategies, and foster strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of complex commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards.
- Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for specific business units or contracts, driving profitability through strategic commercial decisions.
- Conduct commercial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to protect the organization's interests.
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial inquiries, providing expert advice to internal project teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.
- Monitor contract performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage change control processes effectively.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial management, contract negotiation, or procurement within the engineering, manufacturing, or technical services sector.
- Proven track record of managing the full contract lifecycle and handling complex commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of Singapore contract law and commercial best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial reports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
