Tanggung Jawab

  • Execute daily food preparation and cooking tasks according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented consistently, meeting the high standards of Shangri-La Group.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in compliance with all food safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and minimize food waste.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow kitchen staff and communicate clearly with the senior culinary team.
  • Assist in receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Cook or Commis Chef, preferably within a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Basic understanding of culinary techniques, knife skills, and various cooking methods.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and HACCP principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit.
