Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and portion high-quality food ingredients (mise en place) ahead of service periods.
  • Cook and present dishes consistently according to established recipes, portion controls, and InterContinental brand standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station in compliance with local food safety regulations (SFA).
  • Monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team and service staff to ensure timely and smooth service delivery.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Assist in receiving and inspecting food deliveries for quality and freshness.

Kualifikasi

  • Proven experience as a Cook, Line Cook, or Commis Chef, preferably within a hotel or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of professional cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Basic Food Hygiene Course) recognized in Singapore.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
