Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and bake a diverse range of breads, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor baking processes, adjusting temperatures and timings to ensure consistent product quality
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients, supplies, and equipment
- Develop and test new bakery items and seasonal offerings aligned with guest preferences
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in all baking operations
- Collaborate with kitchen team to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely delivery
- Train and mentor junior bakers on techniques and best practices
- Implement cost-control measures while maintaining product excellence
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years of professional baking or pastry experience in a hospitality environment
- Proficiency in various baking techniques including bread-making, pastry production, and dessert creation
- Strong understanding of ingredient properties, substitutions, and flavor profiles
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency in presentation and taste
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
