As a Cook Helper, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring that our dishes meet the high standards of quality and presentation that our guests expect. You will assist in ingredient preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support the culinary team during service hours. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef and line cooks with daily food preparation and mise en place.
- Ensure all ingredients are washed, chopped, peeled, and prepared according to recipe specifications.
- Maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety at all times.
- Assist in the proper storage and labeling of food items to prevent spoilage and waste.
- Operate kitchen equipment (fryers, ovens, grills) safely and according to guidelines.
- Ensure the kitchen workstation remains clean, organized, and clutter-free during and after service.
- Help monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking kitchen supplies when needed.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent culinary certification.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel kitchen is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation principles.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions from senior staff.
- Reliable, punctual, and possess a proactive work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking terminology and equipment.
