- Assist chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, cutting, and measuring.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, cooking equipment, and all work areas.
- Help with the proper storage of food items, ensuring ingredients are organized and rotated to maintain freshness.
- Support the cooking process by monitoring food quality and ensuring timely preparation of dishes.
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and unpacking daily food deliveries.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Dispose of waste and garbage properly according to kitchen and environmental guidelines.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or as a cook helper is preferred but not strictly required.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure culinary environment.
- Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
