As a Cook Helper, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to prepare ingredients, maintain a pristine workstation, and assist in the smooth operation of our busy kitchen. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily food preparation and mise-en-place.
- Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and meats according to culinary standards.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area at all times.
- Manage inventory by restocking stations and labeling ingredients for freshness.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations (HACCP standards).
- Assist in plating dishes and ensuring presentation quality before service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Assistant or Cook Helper in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Possess a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn from senior culinary staff.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment/supplies.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of various cooking techniques and knife skills.
