Cook Helper (Asian & Western Cuisine)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the culinary team in the preparation and cooking of Asian and Western dishes.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Support inventory control by properly storing ingredients and conducting stock checks.
• Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
• Assist with plating and presentation of dishes to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and timely service during peak hours.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and food hygiene standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Knowledge of basic cooking methods for both Asian and Western cuisines.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple prep tasks.
• Valid health certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding kitchen duties.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English is a plus.
