- Prepare nutritious meals for crew members considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Manage galley inventory, food storage, and supply procurement
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
- Assist with routine deck maintenance, cargo operations, and vessel cleaning
- Adhere to international maritime safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with deck officers to optimize vessel operations
- Document food consumption and inventory records accurately
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2 years commercial cooking experience or maritime culinary certification
- Basic knowledge of food safety, HACCP principles, and nutritional standards
- Physical fitness for manual labor and confined space work
- Valid seafarer's documentation (STCW or equivalent preferred)
- Ability to work in rotating shifts and adapt to changing conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in English
- Clean criminal background check and medical fitness certificate
