This role is essential for maintaining the morale and physical health of our seafaring team while operating on critical trade routes.

You will be responsible for managing all galley operations, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and nutritional balance for a diverse crew in a demanding maritime environment.

Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality, nutritious meals for the entire vessel crew daily.
- Manage galley inventory, including provisioning, storage, and cost-control of food supplies.
- Strictly adhere to international maritime hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
- Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the galley, pantry, and cold storage rooms.
- Coordinate with the Chief Steward or Captain regarding victualing budgets and meal scheduling.
- Ensure dietary requirements and cultural preferences of the crew are accommodated whenever possible.
- Maintain records of provisions received, consumed, and remaining inventory.
Kualifikasi
- Must hold a valid Schengen Visa for immediate deployment.
- Proven experience as a Cook on deep-sea or heavy-lift vessels.
- Relevant maritime certification and training (e.g., Ship's Cook Certificate).
- Strong knowledge of international food safety standards and galley management.
- Excellent physical health and ability to work in a high-pressure, rotating shift environment.
- Valid Seaman’s Book and updated STCW certifications.
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural crew environment.
- Fluent in English for communication and safety documentation.
