- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, portion control, and quality standards of Davao Tuna Grill Fastfood Corporation.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (e.g., HACCP principles, local health codes).
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients, assist in ordering supplies, and minimize food waste through proper handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workstation and cooking equipment at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow kitchen staff, sous chefs, and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, performing regular cleaning and reporting any malfunctions.
- Assist in the development and testing of new menu items or special promotions as required by management.
- Ensure consistent food presentation and taste, meeting customer expectations and brand standards.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a fast-food, casual dining, or high-volume kitchen environment.
- Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and culinary best practices.
- Excellent knowledge and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure, managing multiple tasks and orders simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- A vocational certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is a distinct advantage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as per operational needs.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights.
