Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and plate high-quality sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi according to standard recipes.
  • Operate hot kitchen equipment to prepare various Japanese-inspired cooked dishes.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control for every plate served.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate efficiently with the front-of-house team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory levels and report ingredient shortages to the Head Chef.
  • Participate in regular kitchen briefings and training sessions to improve culinary techniques.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Cook in a Japanese restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and general hot kitchen cooking methods.
  • High attention to detail, especially regarding food hygiene, quality standards, and presentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Disciplined, proactive, and a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Flexible to work on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic understanding of Food Safety and HACCP standards is preferred.
