In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the daily functioning of the kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around the preparation, cooking, and plating of a diverse range of Western dishes, ensuring every item meets the restaurant's rigorous quality standards. You will collaborate directly with the Head Chef, contributing ideas for seasonal menus and refining existing recipes to wow our discerning clientele. Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment is paramount, as is strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
The ideal candidate possesses proven experience as a Cook in a Western restaurant concept. You are proficient in various cooking methods, possess excellent knife skills, and have a strong understanding of ingredient sourcing and inventory management. We value team players who can communicate effectively and remain calm under pressure during peak service hours.

Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Western dishes consistently according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist the Head Chef in menu innovation, recipe development, and dish improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (SG Food Safety guidelines).
- Manage stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and ensure proper rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen station at all times.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and service, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication during service hours.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when required.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Cook in a Western cuisine-focused restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Possess a recognized culinary certification (e.g., WSQ Diploma in Food Preparation, NITEC in Culinary Skills) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques, plating styles, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and HACCP standards.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
