Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and execute high-quality Western dishes according to Urban Wagyu Steakhouse standards.
  • Maintain excellence in food preparation, presentation, and consistency for every plate served.
  • Ensure strict adherence to kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP/Food Safety protocols).
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
  • Manage inventory levels and minimize food wastage through proper storage and handling techniques.
  • Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operational tasks and kitchen maintenance.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and ensure all stocks are rotated following the FIFO method.

Kualifikasi

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Commis or Cook in a Western-style restaurant or upscale steakhouse.
  • Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, saucing, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Disciplined, proactive, and possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen health standards.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Culinary school graduates are encouraged to apply.
