Are you an analytical accounting professional with a passion for the fast-paced FMCG sector? Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accounting Staff to join our client's team in Malang on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in production cost analysis, inventory valuation, and financial reporting within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
As a Cost Accounting Staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy by monitoring production costs, analyzing variances, and assisting in the month-end closing process. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, ready to hit the ground running, and eager to contribute to operational efficiency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
- Perform daily reconciliation of inventory and ensure accurate stock valuation.
- Prepare comprehensive cost reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Collaborate with the production and warehouse teams to track usage and minimize wastage.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes for accounting records.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and monitor depreciation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Cost Accounting or General Accounting, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing company.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Accurate).
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Must be available to start immediately or on short notice.
