Devex is seeking a meticulous and analytical Cost Control Engineer to join our dynamic project management team in Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our large-scale engineering projects. You will be responsible for the rigorous oversight of project expenditures, ensuring that all resource requestsâfrom materials and manpower to heavy equipment and specialized toolsâare strictly aligned with the approved project budget.

Tanggung Jawab
- Validate and approve weekly requests for materials, manpower, and equipment against project budget baselines.
- Conduct regular cost variance analysis to identify potential overspends and propose corrective actions.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure all transactions align with procurement policies and site requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and department heads to forecast resource needs accurately.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly cost reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain an organized tracking system for all project assets, tools, and inventory usage.
- Audit site operations to ensure cost-efficiency and adherence to budget constraints throughout the project lifecycle.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost control, project accounting, or quantity surveying within the engineering/construction industry.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and site requirements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail regarding procurement documentation and financial auditing.
