Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for the hospitality industry? The Hill Hotel & Resort is seeking a dedicated Cost Controller to join our finance team in the beautiful setting of Sibolangit. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our operational efficiency by monitoring and analyzing costs across all hotel departments.

As our Cost Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining tight control over food, beverage, and operating supplies inventory. You will work closely with the procurement and culinary teams to ensure that our profit margins are protected while maintaining the high standards of service our guests expect. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on data analysis, process optimization, and contributing to the financial health of a premier resort destination.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Monitor and analyze daily food and beverage costs to ensure they align with established budget targets.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and perform reconciliations with the POS and accounting systems.
  • Review and verify purchase requests and local market prices to ensure optimal procurement costs.
  • Analyze waste, spoilage, and operational losses, providing actionable insights to department heads for improvement.
  • Ensure all internal controls are followed regarding receiving, storing, and issuing of hotel supplies.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for management, highlighting variances and potential savings opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the F&B team to update recipe costs and menu engineering assessments.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cost control or auditing within the hospitality or hotel industry.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., VHP, Micros, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high integrity in handling company assets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a resort environment and communicate across different departments.
  • Fluency in Indonesian; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
