Are you a detail-oriented Engineering professional with a passion for precision and commercial strategy? Premier Hytemp is seeking a highly motivated Costing & Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in the West Region. In this critical role, you will act as the bridge between technical manufacturing feasibility and commercial success.
You will be responsible for defining optimized manufacturing sequences, developing accurate routing, performing detailed cost estimations, and managing the full lifecycle of customer quotes. Your success in this role directly influences our ability to win complex projects and maintain our reputation for excellence in the engineering sector. Tanggung Jawab
- Determine optimal manufacturing sequences and routing for complex components to ensure cost-efficiency.
- Perform detailed cost estimations, including material, labor, and overhead analysis for RFQs.
- Prepare and submit competitive commercial quotes to potential and existing clients.
- Manage end-to-end follow-up on inquiries to secure new business and project orders.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to validate manufacturing feasibility and lead times.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of costing models and project specifications.
- Analyze historical project data to improve future estimation accuracy and profitability.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proven experience in manufacturing processes, CNC machining, or industrial costing.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience in the oil & gas or precision engineering industry is highly advantageous.
