Our client, a highly reputable global leader in the premium household water filtration and treatment industry, is seeking an exceptional Country Sales Manager to spearhead their aggressive expansion across Malaysia and Indonesia. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own the P&L, build the go-to-market strategy, and construct a dominant dealership network from the ground up.

As the Country Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a robust business plan to penetrate the premium residential market. This includes recruiting and managing a network of authorized dealerships, establishing key partnerships with major retailers, and managing key corporate accounts. You will conduct ongoing market analysis to stay ahead of the competition, identify emerging trends, and adjust strategies to maximize market share and brand presence across both nations.
Location: Kuala Lumpur (with extensive travel across Malaysia & Indonesia required).
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the premium water filter and treatment product line across Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Build, manage, and expand a high-performing dealership and distributor network to maximize market penetration and brand presence.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving aggressive sales targets and KPIs for both B2B (corporate/developer) and B2C (retail/dealer) channels.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a direct sales team and regional managers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and track consumer trends.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders including retail giants, property developers, and corporate accounts.
- Plan and oversee marketing initiatives, trade shows, and promotional events to boost brand awareness and lead generation.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, monthly performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of proven sales experience in the consumer appliances or water filtration industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Country Manager, Sales Director, or Senior Sales Manager role covering the Malaysia and/or Indonesia market.
- Strong existing network of dealerships, distributors, and retail channels in the home appliances / consumer durables sector.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performance sales teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, P&L management experience, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Malaysia and Indonesia (up to 50%).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is highly preferred.
