PERSOL is seeking a skilled CPU Engineer for a 12‑month contract in Singapore’s vibrant One‑North tech hub. In this role, you will be at the forefront of next‑generation processor development, contributing to the design, verification, and optimization of cutting‑edge CPU cores.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hardware architects, firmware developers, and validation engineers to bring high‑performance, low‑power CPU solutions to market. Key responsibilities include defining micro‑architectural specifications, writing RTL code, performing lint and CDC checks, and collaborating with the validation team to ensure silicon‑level quality. You will also be tasked with profiling performance bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to meet power and performance goals.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design and develop CPU core IP blocks from specification to RTL.
- Perform functional verification and timing analysis using industry‑standard EDA tools.
- Collaborate with architects to translate micro‑architectural requirements into efficient hardware implementations.
- Optimize logic for performance, power, and area (PPA) targets.
- Conduct integration and validation of CPU subsystems within larger SoC platforms.
- Document design decisions, micro‑architecture, and verification results.
- Support bring‑up, debug, and performance profiling of CPU prototypes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Solid experience in CPU or processor design, including RTL development and verification.
- Proficiency in HDLs such as Verilog or VHDL.
- Familiarity with EDA tools (e.g., Synopsys, Cadence) for simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis.
- Understanding of computer architecture concepts (pipelines, caches, ISA).
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
