The Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Crane Barge Supervisor (Piling) to join our dedicated team in Changi, East Region, Singapore. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to lead and oversee critical crane-barge and deck operations on challenging marine piling projects. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise all crane-barge and deck operations, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute piling activities efficiently.
- Oversee the safe loading, offloading, and securing of piling materials, equipment, and plant on the barge.
- Conduct regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to maintain a proactive safety culture amongst the crew.
- Monitor the performance and maintenance of all barge equipment, including cranes, winches, and auxiliary machinery.
- Manage and direct barge crew, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure optimal productivity and quality of work.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, records of operations, and report any incidents or deviations promptly.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental management.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Barge Supervisor or similar supervisory role in marine construction, specifically with piling operations.
- Proven experience with heavy lift crane operations and associated rigging/lifting procedures.
- Strong understanding of marine safety regulations, codes of practice, and best industry standards.
- Relevant marine certification (e.g., Coxswain, Master Class 5) and/or offshore safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and train a diverse operational team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with various project personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, project plans, and safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding marine environments, including extended hours and potentially adverse weather conditions.
