Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement Credit and Political Risks insurance business strategy, initiatives, and plans to drive growth.
- Manage and review the underwriting portfolio to ensure optimal risk selection and profitability targets are met.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and branch networks to support business development and client retention.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and internal underwriting guidelines.
- Lead the development of new products and initiatives within the political risk space.
- Mentor junior underwriters and foster a culture of excellence and risk awareness.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in Credit and Political Risk Underwriting, preferably within a multinational insurance organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and risk reports.
- Deep understanding of the Singaporean and Southeast Asian markets.
- Professional certifications such as CII, CIC, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex risk assessments to senior management.
- Proven track record in leading projects and driving business results.
