Tanggung Jawab
- Clean, decontaminate, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments using automated washer-disinfectors and steam autoclaves
- Perform quality assurance checks including biological monitoring and Bowie-Dick testing
- Manage inventory of sterile supplies, ensuring proper rotation and stock levels
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues
- Document sterilization processes using electronic tracking systems and regulatory forms
- Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate instrument availability for scheduled procedures
- Adhere to strict infection control standards and hospital safety protocols
- Train staff on instrument handling and sterilization best practices
Kualifikasi
- Certificate/Diploma in Sterile Processing Technology or related healthcare field
- Minimum 1-2 years of CSSD or sterile processing experience preferred
- Familiarity with sterilization methods (steam, EO, hydrogen peroxide)
- Knowledge of AORN, SGNA, and CDC guidelines for instrument processing
- Proficiency in operating sterilization equipment and monitoring systems
- Strong attention to detail with ability to perform precise manual tasks
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
