Are you a strategic leader with a strong command of logistics regulations? DHL Express is looking for a highly skilled Custom Broker to oversee customs operations at our hub in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customs clearance process, ensuring full compliance with local trade laws, and optimizing operational efficiency to meet strict delivery timelines.
As a Custom Broker at DHL, you will act as the bridge between our logistics network and government authorities. You will lead a team of professionals, handle complex documentation, and troubleshoot clearance issues to ensure seamless import and export operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage all daily customs clearance activities for air freight at KLIA.
- Ensure strict compliance with Malaysian Customs Act and relevant international trade regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the customs operations team to maintain high performance.
- Resolve complex customs clearance issues and expedite shipments facing delays.
- Coordinate effectively with government agencies, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of documentation, permits, and duty payments.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Valid Customs Broker License or equivalent professional qualification.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong understanding of ASEAN trade regulations and import/export procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
