Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and process customs documentation, including import/export declarations and permit applications.
- Ensure all shipments moving within Free Industrial Zones (FIZ) comply with local customs regulations and company SOPs.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for all brokerage-related paperwork to ensure audit readiness.
- Collaborate closely with internal logistics teams, warehouse staff, and external customs officers to resolve clearance bottlenecks.
- Verify the accuracy of shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Assist in the classification of goods under the Harmonized System (HS) codes to ensure accurate duty assessment.
- Monitor the status of shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders regarding clearance progress.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM, STPM, or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics administrative support.
- Basic understanding of Royal Malaysian Customs procedures and FIZ operations is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) for data entry and reporting.
- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to meet strict customs deadlines.
- Possess a proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
