Syarikat Sin Kwang Plastic Industries is a leader in the manufacturing sector, committed to operational excellence and global trade integrity. We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly organized Custom Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Senai, Johor.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our international trade operations, ensuring that all import and export activities align with Malaysian Customs regulations and international trade laws. You will act as the bridge between our production facility and regulatory authorities, mitigating risks and optimizing our logistics supply chain. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage all import and export documentation, ensuring 100% accuracy and adherence to Royal Malaysian Customs requirements.
- Classify goods accurately under the Harmonized System (HS) codes to ensure proper tariff application.
- Monitor and update internal compliance procedures to reflect changes in local and international trade legislation.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, and custom brokers to ensure seamless shipment clearance.
- Perform periodic internal audits of customs records to identify and rectify potential discrepancies.
- Handle applications for import/export licenses, permits, and Certificates of Origin (COO).
- Resolve any customs-related queries, stops, or inspections in a timely and professional manner.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customs clearance, trade compliance, or logistics coordination within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using the eDeclare system and other customs-related software.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Import/Export regulations and free trade agreements (FTAs).
- Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills in Malay and English, with the ability to liaise effectively with government officials.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
