Google Cloud is seeking a visionary Customer Engineering Manager for Global System Integrators (GSI) to lead a high-performing team of cloud experts in Singapore. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive the adoption of Google Cloud solutions by working closely with our most strategic partners, enabling them to deliver innovative solutions to joint customers.
As a Customer Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building and leading a world-class team of Customer Engineers who are dedicated to empowering Global System Integrators. You will set the technical vision, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensure that our partners have the technical resources and guidance they need to succeed. Your team will work hand-in-hand with partners to design, architect, and implement cloud solutions that solve complex business challenges and drive measurable outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, partner ecosystem, and business strategy. You will collaborate with Google Cloud’s Product, Sales, and Partner Engineering teams to shape the future of our partner technical engagement model. You will also have the opportunity to influence product roadmaps based on partner and customer feedback, and to contribute to the broader cloud industry through thought leadership and community building.

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Customer Engineers focused on Global System Integrators, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession.
- Partner with GSIs to architect and implement scalable cloud solutions that drive business transformation and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Partner Engineering to align technical strategies with business objectives.
- Own the technical relationship with key GSI partners, ensuring successful delivery of Google Cloud projects and exceeding customer expectations.
- Develop and execute a technical enablement strategy to upskill partner engineers on Google Cloud technologies.
- Drive thought leadership by representing Google Cloud at industry events, creating technical content, and building reusable assets.
- Monitor and report on team performance, partner satisfaction, and cloud adoption metrics to inform continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of cloud solutions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in customer-facing engineering, cloud architecture, or technical sales roles.
- 5+ years of experience in a people management or team lead capacity.
- Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform services, including compute, storage, networking, and data analytics.
- Proven experience working with Global System Integrators or large channel partners in a technical leadership role.
- Strong understanding of cloud transformation journeys, migration methodologies, and modern application development practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to influence C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer) are highly preferred.
