Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Central Express Lines is looking for a highly organized and proactive Customer Service Officer to manage our import and export documentation workflow. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that all shipping documentation—ranging from Bills of Lading to Letters of Credit and Free Trade Agreements—is processed accurately and efficiently. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipment status and resolving any documentation discrepancies. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and can coordinate effectively with internal teams and external freight partners to ensure smooth cargo movements.

As a key member of our logistics team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence in supply chain management. Your expertise in handling complex trade compliance requirements will help us maintain strong relationships with global partners and ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare and verify all import and export shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and Commercial Invoices.
  • Manage and process Letters of Credit (LC) applications and ensure compliance with banking and trade regulations.
  • Assist clients with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) documentation to maximize cost savings and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely cargo clearance.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding shipment status, tracking, and documentation requests.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company's ERP system and database, ensuring data integrity.
  • Identify and troubleshoot potential documentation issues before shipment departure.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics customer service or shipping documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping procedures, and trade compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (data entry and analysis).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid Driver's License is an advantage.
