Tanggung Jawab
- Accurately classify products and commodities using the Harmonized System (HS) codes and General Rules of Interpretation (GRI).
- Review and analyze commercial invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain and update the company’s internal classification database to ensure consistency across all filings.
- Provide expert guidance on tariff schedules, duty rates, and trade agreements to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to resolve any classification disputes or customs inquiries.
- Ensure all customs entries are prepared and submitted in accordance with local and international trade laws.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and notify management of any significant updates impacting the business.
- Support post-entry audits and assist in duty drawback processes where applicable.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
- Must be a Licensed Customs Broker (PRC License) or have equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in customs classification or brokerage operations.
- In-depth knowledge of the Harmonized System (HS) and various Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite, particularly Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle high-volume documentation accurately.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
