We are seeking a meticulous and execution-driven Customs Broker to join our team at Zhongnan Vientiane Trading (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, located in the Nu Empire complex, Subang Jaya. In this pivotal role, you will act as a vital link in our supply chain, taking full responsibility for import and export customs clearance, coordination, and compliance management. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the end-to-end import and export customs clearance processes to ensure timely cargo release.
- Prepare, review, and verify all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve clearance issues and expedite shipments.
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and trade policies to ensure full compliance with Malaysian laws.
- Conduct risk assessments on shipments to identify potential compliance or duty-related issues early.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all customs-related activities and correspondence.
- Provide guidance and support to the logistics team on customs procedures and documentation requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Valid Customs Broker License (if applicable in Malaysia) or strong working knowledge of customs procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of Malaysian Customs Acts, Valuation, and Tariff codes.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure error-free documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics management software.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
