TRUE FREIGHT GLOBAL LOGISTICS INC. is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Representative to join our dynamic team in Makati City. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary point of contact for managing all customs clearance activities, ensuring seamless operations at major ports and terminals. We are looking for an experienced professional who is well-versed in the specific procedures of NAIA, MICP, and South Harbor.
As a Customs Representative, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain by ensuring that all import and export documentation is accurate, complete, and filed in a timely manner. You will liaise directly with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and other government agencies to resolve clearance issues and minimize shipment delays. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver efficient logistics solutions to our valued clients.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and file accurate customs declarations for imports and exports.
- Liaise with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and other government agencies to facilitate clearance.
- Ensure full compliance with Philippine customs laws, regulations, and tariff schedules.
- Coordinate with clients and freight forwarders to gather necessary shipping documentation.
- Monitor shipments for customs holds and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized records of all clearance documents and transaction logs.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding shipment status and clearance timelines.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a Customs Representative.
- Hands-on experience handling transactions at NAIA, MICP, and South Harbor.
- Familiarity with customs procedures, tariff rates, and import/export regulations in the Philippines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
